How to: Healing with Light

Healite Therapy is an amazing supporting treatment for our clients undergoing treatment plans.

While we encourage the skin to recover and progress naturally, we can’t resist the pure power of the Healite Therapy device to help expedite the healing process.

In today’s blog post, we break down our Healite Therapy treatment.

What is it?

Healite Therapy is a non-invasive treatment utilising light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. We incorporate Healite Therapy sessions into treatment plans to enhance the skins natural cellular recovery.

Why do we use it?

Some of the reasons why we choose Healite Therapy are…

- Improves healing time
- Relieves pain
- Promotes natural cellular recovery
- Supports the skin when experiencing post-treatment responses
- Strengthens sensitive skin

What should I expect from this treatment?

Our Healite Therapy device rolls over the facial region with panels facing towards the skin. Once turned on, the duration is roughly 13 minutes and a gentle orange light will emit. We encourage you to keep your eyes closed during this time.

A warming sensation will slowly develop as you progress through the session. It will almost feel like you’re on the beach, relaxing under the sun (but without the UV damage!) Following this, we apply our trusty New Glow & Restore Peptide Mask for deep nourishment and lock in hydration with our dr.dream skincare.

Is there any downtime?

Healite Therapy does not require any downtime. You may experience mild erythema post-treatment but this will dissipate within 48-72 hours.

There is also a minimum 48-hour interval between each Healite Therapy treatment (so you could come in 2-3x a week to provide maximum support for your skin 👀).

The main focus of Healite Therapy is allowing faster recovery times as you progress through your treatments. Nonetheless, there are many purposes for using Healite Therapy, making it an incredible asset to have in your treatment plan.
