POST TREATMENT CARE

    • Sensitivity to touch, redness, swelling, warmth, itching, stinging, dryness, flaking and purging is not uncommon. This typically lasts for 48-72 hours.

    • You may experience light to aggressive shedding. This typically lasts for 7-10 days.

    • Avoid picking, scratching or irritating the skin.

    • Healite Therapy is advised if additional support is required.

    • Light makeup can be used 48 hours post treatment if absolutely necessary. Apply only mineral-based products that are non-comedogenic.

    • Avoid getting the facial area wet 24 hours post.

    • Skincare is limited as advised.

    • If you experience excessive itching or heat on the evening of your treatment, gently rinse the skin with cool water and pat it dry. This can help to dislodge any remaining spicules and provide relief.

    • The following morning, pat your advised sun protection product(s) gently.

    • The following evening, use dr.dream Hydramemory Cleansing Foam, dr.dream Advanced Treatment Serum and your advised dr.dream moisturiser(s).

    • After 48 hours, resume dr.dream Advanced Treatment Toner and Pure Solution Essence.

    • After 72 hours, resume Dream Peptide Complex Mask.

    • Reapply your advised sun protection product(s) every 2-3 hours during the day.

    • Use the Dream Peptide Complex Mask and dr.dream Advanced Treatment Serum generously to speed up the recovery process.

    • Avoid using AHAs, BHAs, Physical exfoliants, Topical steroids and Retinol.

    • Avoid skincare products other than the ones recommended to you.

    • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

    • Limit direct sun exposure, solariums and artificial tanning devices (incl. fake tan).

    • Avoid extremely hot showers, sauna, steam rooms, swimming and intense exercise.

    • Avoid waxing, laser, electrolysis.

    • Avoid facial tattoos (including lips and eyebrows).

    • Avoid alcohol, vaping and smoking.

If you have a history of fever blisters / cold sores, take antiviral medication as a precaution to prevent a potential outbreak. Please follow the instructions for the product you typically use.
